[b]ENGLAND/ OFFICIAL, Mackay new Watford coach[/b]

Malcolm "Malky" Mackay has been named new Watford coach. He replaces Brendan Rodgers (who recently quit Watford to sign for Reading). Mackay never coached a team before and is a former Watford player. The 37 year old Scotsman played for Watford from 2005 to 2008.


[b]ITALY/ INTER & JUVENTUS, Eyes on Ledesma[/b]

Vincenzo D'Ippolito (the agent of Lazio's Argentine midfielder Christian Ledesma) says : "Ledesma is leaving Lazio. We have decided that alongside chairman Claudio Lotito. Ledesma is now for sale at 15 million Euros. He is tracked by two Spanish clubs and also by Inter Milan and Juventus. However, I know that Inter have to sell Patrick Vieira before making a move for Ledesma, while Juve will contact us only if they will fail in their attempt to sign Gaetano D'Agostino from Udinese".

AS Roma officials have found an agreement with 24 year old winger Stedano Guberti, whose contract with AS Bari is about to expire. He will sign a 4-year deal with AS Roma and be introduced to the press at the beginning of July.


[b]FRANCE/ PSG, Sakho for Vieira[/b]

PSG are interested in Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira and, in order to get him, they are ready to offer France Under 21 defender Mamadou Sakho (19) to the Italian club.

ENGLAND/ WEST HAM, Keen on two Inter players[/b]

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport , West Ham seem to have overtaken other clubs interested in Inter Milan attacking midfielder Luis Jimenez. The 24 year old could move to the English club on loan alongside winger Amantino Mancini.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, two Juventus players are on their way out. 31 year old Swedish defender Olof Mellberg is about to join Panathinaikos for 3.5 million euros, while 29 year old Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen is close to signing for Fenerbahçe.

Despite the statements made by his agent to French media sources, Bordeaux 28 year old midfielder Fernando Menegazzo could remain in France and join PSG.
